Will go to india at the end of september, will spend a month there. I know an air ticket to China in Sri Lankan Airlines is only 540 dollars, round trip. From Beijing the train to Tibet costs 140 dollars each way and last three days each way. My question is, can I apply for the tibet Visa in Delhi, and can I buy the train tickets to Tibet in Beijing. Of course will apply for a chinese visa too. did hear you may buy the tickets if you are at the train station waiting for a cancellation.

Neither Visa to Tibet nor the train tickets to Llhasa can be procured while in India, for a foreign national in India. However, you may get air tickets in India from respective airlines operating to China.

india - china relations are not very good
improving now, but they fought a border war in 1961 & still have lottsa border isuues unresolved.

u can forget booking about the train tickets to tibet fron delhi
- tibet is a very sensitive issue 2 china !!!
best get visa from peru itself
one month too short 2 gamble on getting one from delhi
nepal, sri lanka, bangladesh, thailand ... u can get visas from delhi
but china i would'nt hazard, that too tibet

not possible to obtain visa to Tibet. Tibet is under goverment of China and visa application has to go throught China govt. Check with chinese embassy in India, I doubt.

it will be as useful because the "loose TIBET" bumber stickers. there develop into no aspect except to grant jobs for bumber sticker makers. In a pair better a lengthy time period China will depopulate Tibet of Tibetans and replace them with close by chinese.
