my mom is trieng to book a trip but we want o stay onsite for the magic hours and hooper things. but no hotels will let us. what should we do?? any suggestions??

Okay, I'm really confused on the best way to change the american dollar to the mexican peso. Should I exchange some of it before I leave or after i arrive there? If I wait till I get there, should I do it at the airport or the bank to get a better rate? And how about tipping, does anyone know how much I should give someone?
