There are a couple of places you could be going -- Fairmont Hot Springs, which is near Invermere. Invermere has a small airport, Cranbrook's airport is a lot larger.
Or you could be going to Radium Hot Springs. Radium doesn't have a large airport, but Calgary, Alberta does and it's only a couple of hours drive.

I think Spokane airport [ in US] is near Cranbrook,as it is not far over the
Borders between USA/Canada.
But also Calgary in Canada is pretty near too!
