I am a hunter and fisherman, A few years back while deer hunting in ohio we took a deer into a check station and has a group of people verbally atack us. Saying things like what did that deer ever do to you and calling us names and such.. My view is that we hunt because we love the animal. Hunting isent just about killing (yea its nice to eat a big tender loin or some deer sasuage) but its about the experance. Not only that but hunters save the animals they love from inbreeding, diseses, over population and deth of the species.. why cant tree huggers see that?

Probably an auto but maybe a revolver. I would like to have a gun that will not depreciate in value, and will some day be a collectors item. But it still needs to be affordable and practical today.
I'm looking for something larger than a 9mm.
I would love to hear from some gun collectors, but any help would be appreciated.

i have a moderately old shot gun that was my fathers that he passed down to me before he passed away and i use some times to hunt, and i can only put 2 shells in the magazine and one in the chamber for a total of 3 shells for immediate use before i have to put more into the weapon. i know you have to take the "blocks" out of the magazine in order for the shot gun to hold more shells, how do i take the blocks out of the gun? the type is a winchester 1300 model.

I am looking at buying a rodent gun - looking at shooting rabbits and possums and the likes - not coyottes as they are hard to come by in NZ.

from experiance I like the .22 mag as it shoots flatter and of course has has better hitting power than the 22 LR

BUT - what are the .17 like. I was told buy one person that they are effected by wind quite a bit.

not planning on shooting much over 100 metres max 150ish at a quess.

I want to no what's going to happen if a Democrat takes over the office. Are they going to do another Ban, and if so what will that include? Does this mean they might try to come for our guns or are we grandfathered in before the ban. Is there anything we can do......

my friend thinks this is possible but i doubt it. is it possible to modify a 9mm blank firing gun to a real 9mm gun by replacing the barrell, spring and slide? or does it already shoot real bullets but its just safer to use a real barrell and slide and mybe stronger spring?

Whats a good hunting rifle? Maybe strong enough to take down a bear but still be good for normal deer and game hunting. Great Acc. is a must.
