All of the things to see when nature doesn't know you're there. I've laughed so hard I've almost cried; watching fawns chase each other, watching two bluejays outfox a squirrel to get to a pile of corn, etc. I still think the funnies thing I've ever seen (and heard) was a deer fart. It lifted tail and blasted one just yards away from my blind. I hurt after that, trying to supress the laughter. Most hunters agree, that most of the time it's what you see and experience makes it worth going out again.

Hunting..best described by Ted Nugent...its the Spirit of the wild, its not just about killing something, its about becoming one with nature, seeing the wood "come alive" at the break of day, the sounds of the creatures as they begin thier daily rituals, I hunt ONLY for the food source and I process ALL my own game, Even if nothing is taken from the woods the experience of seeing the animals up close is what I like the most, Ive had several deer come within 5 feet of me while ive been rested against the trunk of a tree turkey hunting, so close I could touch them in a few instances.Ive had a hoot owl perch on a branch right next to my tree stand and sit for about 10 minutes. Its the RUSH of knowing you have outsmarted them on thier "playground" but by no means least the smell of fresh back straps on the grill just makes a true hunters mouth water. Its also about giving back to the earth..I plant trees and food plots on a regular basis and set out feeders during the late winter months to aid in the survival of gods creatures. Its a wonderfull place to be in the woods....no other place id rather be even if im not hunting.

What I most like about hunting is it give me an inter-peace a chance to let everything that's wrong in the world disappear for a short time. To me it's truly not about the hunt or getting the biggest deer it about being with mother nature and recharging my sole. As a responsible hunter I leave the Forrest better than when I came by manging the herd responsible, ethically and humanely.

I just like being outside and not seeing people. I feel so at peace in the middle of the woods, not hearing passing vehicles, not hearing phones ringing, or people talking. Have you seen that water commecial where they play "Under Pressure" and it's like the big thing running down the street, and as you zoom in you see it's made up of like a tow truck, and angry boss, stuff like that, and as they thing keeps running more and more stuff falls off and then finally he gets out of the city and it's just the dude? That's what hunting is like for me.
I also value wildlife conservation supported by myself and other hunters, and I enjoy just the mental nature of going hunting.
It's just fun and relaxing.
There's also a very basic need that I feel to be a part of nature, to connect myself with man's animal side, stalking your prey like a predator.
Plus animals are tasty!

It is not always about killing something(I kill for food only) sometimes I just like to be in the woods. You hear the "silence" (if you've been in the woods before daylight you know what I mean all the animals waking up and starting their morning.) If my family is not too hungry I have let a deer walk by just to watch the beauty, or I like to watch a sun rise or set whichever may be the case. You can feel how beautiful life is when your alone in the woods.

The steaks I had for lunch today, and knowing that if the liberals who are destroying America succeed in ruining the society their lives depend on I can survive long enough to help rebuild America after the liberals all starve.

Man was created as a hunter ,it brings out some kind of primal need we have. Its also nice to get away from all the B.S. of everyday life.

Being in the woods away from my nagging parents, annoying girlfriend, and untrustworthy siblings. Also I love the fresh air and not hearing traffic, you don't realize how the loud the noises your around are until you get away from them.
