.243 Winchester
.22LR single shot squirrel rifle
Winchester 1300 12 gauge shotgun
You know, off the top of my head, I don't know the manufacturer's of the first 2 of those. They are both hand-me-downs. I got the .22 from my grandfather, which he purchased as a kid, so I'm not even sure if it's a major manufacturer or if it's one of those department store brands (like the old Crescent Arms variants). I got the .243 from an uncle. I'm 75% certain the .243 Winchester is a Remington, but I'm not sure.
I also have a rifle in 7mm that my great uncle made by hand. It has a Mauser actions, but he created the stock by hand and assembled it. I'm also inheriting a Fox side by side 12 gauge and a flintlock (also made by my great uncle).
It was quite a sight a few years back when I still lived at home and we'd go out to the range or something like that. I'm trying to think how many firearms we had in the house. I know everyone else (except my mother) has one shotgun (we all trap shoot and hunt turkey), plus an extra lefty semi auto that I think is a Remington, my mother has 2 rifles made by my great uncle, and everyone (except my father) else has one (all with Mauser actions), then we actually have a lefty and righty version of the same model .308 Winchester (my grandpap was a lefty), a semi-auto .22LR from another great-grandfather, plus a .25 caliber "derringer" (I can't for the life of me think of the manufacturer...does beretta make them this small?), a Llama 1911 model .45 ACP, and a S&W .357 Magnum. Considering I have 2 brothers, 3 sisters, plus my parents, that made 26 firearms in the house all together, unless I'm missing one. Well, there's a pellet gun too I guess. Of course, now most everyone has moved out over the past 5 or so years, so our "stockpile" has decreased in size.
I'm also working on my CCW permit, but I live in a shall issue state, so that won't be much of a hassle. I plan on using my refund check I just got back to buy a Ruger P345 or P90 in .45 ACP. I really like this handgun, except that it doesn't have a grip safety. I'm practiced enough that I actually prefer extra safety features.
Does anyone happen to know of a DA/SA or even DAO, American made handgun in .45 ACP that has a grip safety? I was looking at the XD's from Springfield, but they are made (at least the polymer frames) in Croatia. There are plenty of M1911 variants, but I'd prefer not to get a SA.
****UPDATE****
I just noticed you said "weapons". I know I don't, and I don't think anyone in my family owns any form of taser, but all of my sisters have mace or else pepper spray. My youngest brother is a knife collector though, so I couldn't even begin to guess with him. I know he has a switchblade and a butterfly knife though. He's a bit of a WWII collector as well, but the only weapon he has is a set of brass knuckles. Then of course there are plenty of hunting knives and folding knives, and so forth. I have 3 pocket knives and two hunting knives myself. I think my middle brother has a Kbar (he has the original sheath for it, but I can never remember the official designation that knife had, as the same knife has different designations over the years depending on the sheath).
I wouldn't ever really think to count any of those however, as in my own home (single bedroom apartment) I have the 12 gauge readily accesible and loaded, and it's the same in all the houses in my family, except my parents' house where the 3 handguns are placed throughout the house. My first instinct would be to go for a firearm, then fall back on a knife if I couldn't get to a firearm.

Thanks for reminding me I'm past due to do an inventory. With various family members borrowing or my telling them to keep one, it's hard to keep up, and I don't worry about either self-defense or theft of the guns. Let's see: I thiink what's left is three SxS twelve-bores, one drilling, one lever-action centerfire, one rimfire, one rimfire autoloader, eight or nine bolt-action centerfires, a double that's in wall-hanger condition, and about six handguns. Could be leaving something out. We're pretty informal about who in the family have what, except the loading bench, where I seem to have evolved as the family cartridge-stuffer. Kids always seem too busy to work up loads, though my brother always seems to have the die I need at the moment.
