Look on the barrel to see what .22 rimfire cartridge it is cambered for (will not fire them interchangeably, only works with 1) . Then load in the tube magazine, pump the slide, pull the trigger. Repeat as needed.

carefully. Always treat fire arms as if they were loaded. Never point it in a unsafe direction. Always make sure the rifle is unloaded before handling and cleaning. 1890 isn't that hard to figure out at all. Have an experienced person with guns or at a gun shop show you how to operate it safely.

Your suited guess would be to get ahold of a reproduction of blue e book of gun values. Or there is the possibility that a prior gunsmith or gun keep that has been around for awhile could have something that could desire to furnish you what you're searching for for.
