Its really pissing me off. I mean you cant just steal other peoples players. The Twins need all the prospects they can get and then WHAM, they are gone, including a couple of really promising players and even a major league veteran. If anyone can tell me how in the world this is fair, i would be ******* surprised.

So according to Yahoo - the Tigers are the new #3 payroll team in baseball, right behind the Yankees and Red Sox. So if they win the World Series, what excuses will Tigers fans have for buying a World Series?

Here is a quote from the Giants webite:
"San Francisco added a left-hander to the bullpen mix Thursday, taking coveted Jose Capellan from the Red Sox in the Rule 5 Draft. The Giants lost lefty Travis Blackley to the Phillies, but they also picked up a shortstop in the Triple-A phase. "
Why is everybody switching prospects? I mean what is the point. I don't get it. Someone please explain

Why is there a Canadian baseball team anyways? Canada is for hockey!

Ok, is there something I'm missing here? I think Brian Sabean's gone off over the deep end. First the Zito signing, then this. I'm not a Giants fan, but I can't believe that they'd even consider moving Tim Lincecum. Lincecum has absolutely ridiculous stuff and I would be surprised if he didn't win multiple Cy Youngs. All he needs is stay healthy and gain experience. I know the Giants need hitting, but still you don't trade a pitcher with as good as Lincecum.

As for the Blue Jays, I think this trade would vault them into immediate contention even in the AL East. You combine Lincecum with Halladay, who might be the most underappreciated pitcher in baseball, you have something real special there.

Why can't you order a jersey for a retired player when you go to a store where you can order replica or authentic jerseys and have them put whatever name and number on it you want? I mean, what if you wanted your own name, and your college number and that happened to be the name and number of a retired player? When my favorite baseball player was still active, I couldn't afford his jersey, and now that I can, I supposedly can't order one because he's retired. Or do they just say that and not enforce it?

Why do people not like the Astros. I know where not the best team ever. But were not THAT bad. People think that our team is a piece of s---. I can think of teams worse then us.

I know he is older but he is also pretty decent and I bet not very expensive. Just exploring the options here since it seems that any deal for Bay is over, with the Pirates wanting the Franklin mint and the Indians not putting that much value on Bay who is coming off knee problems and a bad year. Thoughts on Taguchi or who can fill in decently at LF? J-Mike does not cut it, Dellucci certainly does not cut it, Shin Soo Choo is a question mark...etc.
here is the lowdown on Taguchi

The Mets have the good young talent to deal with, could they be the winner in the race for Santana?

Do they actually think that moving a closer to the rotation and picking up a closer is going to improve this team? They need more bullpen help, a 3rd baseman and another good starter and another outfielder when they lose rowen. They can shove those tickets up their a#$! Someone give gillick a b-12 shot please! Big market team with a small market mentality.

First of all, it should be Andrew, not Andruw! (joking)

But seriously, that's a lot of money for a 13th year guy who hit .220.

The Dodgers are sure bringing in a lot of nothing for a lot of $$$.
