Here is why I don't really care for them:
1) They have no players that I like.
2) They have no "flashy" players like a Jose Reyes
3) Their farm system is horrible and never bring up good talent
4) Center field at Minute Maid park is the worst outfield in the league. The way it escalates. That's ridiculous.
5) Their uniforms
6) They sign players like Woody Williams
7) They pay people like Roger Clemens $20 million to show up when it wants to and golf on the days the team is away
8) Phil Garner
9) Lance Berkman
10) They are never on prime time television for a reason

Well I'm a Met Fan, And I really don't think the Astros Suck! They're a pretty good team just some teams are better! Kansas City does suck. Maybe there a just other teams out there that fancy other peoples minds!

Houston? I live in Cleveland. You think I have not heard some doozies in my time as a Cleveland sports fan? We field competitive teams (sometimes) in various sports, get to the dance and are left standing at the altar far too often for our liking. We cultivate awesome talent only to see it leave for more monied pastures (Manny Ramirez, Jim Thome, Albert Belle). We endure heartbreak yet come back for more. There are plenty of people who diss on Cleveland teams - such as Pissburgh fans - but ultimately does it matter? No. I am still a Browns season ticketholder and an Indians partial season ticketholder with my tickets already in hand for opening day 2008. In the long run, the answer is, "who cares?" If you like a team, that is your team and you have other fans of that team to talk to so really who cares? Do I care if someone does not like the Indians? No. The City of Cleveland? No, and they were probably never even a visitor to Cleveland, just some ignoramus running their mouth behind the protection of their computer thousands of miles away. I personally do not dislike, disrespect or diss anything about the Astros. I don't live near Houston, don't follow their teams and don't think they are great or a piece of ****. I don't worry about them. I worry about my Cleveland Indians.

I'm from Houston, and I'm a die-hard Astros fan. Even if we're losing, I never stop rooting for them. Same goes for the Rockets and the Texans, win or lose, I still support them.
Did you hear about the latest Astros rumor? We might get Miguel Tejada from the Orioles. :O

My brother-in-law lives in Beaumont, I'm from St. Louis and living in Cincinnati, so it's a friendly rivalry.
Let's face it, those rainbow jerseys of the 70s and 80s didn't help your cause! LOL

Hey, what do you mean? Who DIDN'T like the killer 'B's? They were great. Best cheer ever, too, that bee impersonation from 10s of thousands of fans! Houston Astros are cool.
