so i like this guy and he likes my best friend or at least he did. but my friend told me that she liked him and this other guy. she knew that i liked him and she told me before that she didnt like him. and now im afraid that if people find out he will like her again and ive been trying so hard to get him to like me. i actually thought he was starting to like me. but my best friend kinda likes him. also lots of boys at our school like her. nobody likes me. everyone only likes her because she is athletic. but im just as athletic as her but nobody seems to notice that i am. the point is that now im afraid that this guy that i really really like will start to like my best friend again.just to let people know. i have talked to this guy before and he has talked to me. people im in the 8th grade and i really really REALLY like this guy im not just going to get over him. ive liked him more than any other guy i liked. I really like him. i just want 2 find out if he likes me without asking him.

I'm just asking how fair u think this trade is, not if it will happen, or that it is a rumor. Or for my fantasy league

Chicago Cubs get: Alex Rodriguez, Melky Cabrera
New York Yankees get: Carlos Zambrano, Carlos Marmol, Mike Fontenot

Fair trade?

Or who get's better deal?

There were two seasons shortened by the strike I believe. Does any other situation arise where a team does play all the games scheduled?

As a second place team paying $190 million for the 7th best record in baseball (4X Arizona who holds a 1 game lead on the Bummers) that's not good and even WORSE they will have spent more on their payroll by next season since their last World Series championship than the Cubs have spent since 1908. Why does spending a lot of money and getting no results qualify them as a "great team". They will be more futile than the Cubs next year, as the chance they even make the playoffs this year is unlikeley.

Some people think that Joe Torre is babying him, and he is ready for the rotation in order to help the Yankees in the playoff race.
Some people think that he still needs to learn in order to become a starter.
Personally, I am impressed by his performance so far, but he hasn't pitched a whole lot, so it is a little too early to say anything.
What are your opinions?

I think that during interleague play, they should play by the rules of the visting team's league. The Home team would still be home (bat in the bottom half of the inning).

But when a NL team plays in an AL park, they should not use a DH, and when its AL team visiting an NL park, they should use the DH.

This way fans can see the opposite league rules in action. I live in Seattle and have been to many Mariners games including some interleague games, but I never have the chance to see the pitchers bat. Additionally, fans in NL cities don't get to see the DH's play when they come to town, aside from an occasional pinch hit.

Note, I'm not asking whether or not you think the DH should be eliminated from AL or added to NL, save that argument for another time. Just asking if under the current rules you would support playing by the visiting team's league rules?

Can anyone show me tangible proof that it exists? Is there someone whose career clutch stats shout "clutch hitter" when compared to his normal stats? Or is it another case of seeing a guy have a nice run (like Ortiz last season) and getting a reputation? Further, could it be a case of having a good hitter facing a less-than-good pitcher? Or choke pitching instead of clutch hitting?

In short, is there real proof, or is it a cliché?

Statistically speaking, it should be between Omar Vizquel of the Giants and Troy Tulowitzki of the Rockies.
Remember offense does not matter!!!!!
Oh and no saying so and so because they are on my favorite team, that is bogus, and no sports fan would ever say that.
