Kind of reminds me of the old MAD magazine parody of the Tigers ("Tiger, Tiger, burning bright, in the ballparks of the night; you're in first place and sitting pretty, then lose 6 straight to Kansas City!").

Need help on baseball situation. Runner on 3rd , no outs , batter hits grounder to shortstop and the ss blows it and gets an error . Runner on 3rd has scored on this and batter now on 1st . Does the batter get credit for an RBI in this situation ??? And also , does the run count toward the pitcher's ERA after this play has happened ??? Two parts to this question. Thanks , Tony

Whether they are 70-23 or 23-72, they arent as appreciated as they should. What I mean by that is like products and souviners and fans. Just look at Yankees, they have a lot of nice hats with tight designs but angels only have a little bit. Garret Anderson made Club Record of 10 RBI in a night but not so much knows, but A Rod makes his 500th Homerun and the whole world knows. WHY IS THAT? Angels are playing so good right now. Maybe World Series will make things better.

Why isn't Jason Giambi suspended?

He admitted he took steroids during his prime years when he was jacking up 30-40 HRs a year in Oakland...why isn't he suspended

also, does that mean all the numbers he put up will be removed from the books...isn't he on the top 500 Home run hitters of all time list?

are they gonna take away the AL MVP they gave him?

why are people sympathetic dealing with Giambi!

why are people giving him the benefit of the doubt??? like saying he took then when steroids weren't tested for or substances weren't banned

Just like Bonds he took steroids. PERIOD. both are guilty! No one accepted those excuses when it comes to Bonds...they said he took steroids. PERIOD...doesn't matter, he cheated and I agree!

Athletes are responsible for whats in their system...both of them cheated!

More than regarding the suspension, I'm shocked that Giambi isn't getting nearly the heat or negative press that Bonds is getting EVEN AFTER Giambi admitted to doing steroids wow

I don't know I like this cubs team. I like the goofy baztard Lou mumbling about the Ivory in the Outfield. I like Jacques Jones, mostly because Cub fans hate him and he is not that bad of a player, to be quite honest. I like that Zambrano, who said "I like to thanks god. Without him, I'm a screw." I like D Lee, class act. Ramirez is a pretty impressive player. I like their minor league system, as a White Sox fan, I'm quite envious of it. I like Theriot and Fontenot. Marmol, most impressive.

And who doesn't like Pie? Pie is good!

Is it wrong that I like this team. Is it wrong that I enjoy watching them play? I mean I still hate cubs' fans and want to see them suffer, but is it morally wrong that I like the 2007 Cubs?

You have been braging about the fact that you were ahead of us for weeks.

But now we beat you, when you had one of you're best starters going for you! (Dice K)

You gave up a home run to Johnny ''No Homeruns'' Damon!

I am predicting a sweep or two out of three.

Watch out the Yankees are back and action and looking for a sweep.

Sorry, but this seems dumber than dumb. Why don't they just move one of the national teams to the american side to even up the divisions? And, please, don't bother and bore me with comments about "tradition." It is dumb to keep it this way because the national league central division is at a big disadvantage in relation to the american league west.
