You have been braging about the fact that you were ahead of us for weeks.
But now we beat you, when you had one of you're best starters going for you! (Dice K)
You gave up a home run to Johnny ''No Homeruns'' Damon!
I am predicting a sweep or two out of three.
Watch out the Yankees are back and action and looking for a sweep.

I'M RIGHT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I never really have high expectations of Dice-K because he's so inconsistent.
And don't mention Johnny Damon to me. I'm still trying to get over him.
And the Yankees will not sweep the Red Sox, because....because.....Beckett is pitching tomorrow (yeah, that's it).
And I did not brag that the Sox were ahead. Because I knew if I did, the Yankees would come back and win the World Series, and I would look like an idiot. The only time I talk smack is when I'm just joking around (and I usually apologize).
And guess what else?
I just ate a brownie! Ha. Sorry. Just trying to lighten things up. Have a nice day :)

You're probably having trouble seeing the Red Sox fans because they are 7 full games ahead of you, and that makes us look really small because it's so far away.
If the Sox take 1 out of 3 in each of the two series left with the Yankees, the Yankees are pretty much done. Even if the Yankees sweep both, they still need to pick up two more games somewhere else, and if you look whom the Sox are playing the rest of the way, that's not going to be easy.

I would imagine a good number of them are looking at the standings in the paper and seeing that their team has a SEVEN GAME LEAD.
I think as a Yankees fan, you better root for the sweep. 2 out of 3 will only end up picking up one game.
Signed, a Cubs fan who outwardly despises all things New York, but has closet feelings for the Yankees, if for no other reason then I'm sick of the Red Sox.

Even if the Yankees take two out of three, the Red Sox will be 7 games ahead. The Yankees really have to sweep the Red Sox. And then sweep them again in two weeks in Boston. And sweep the Mariners when they come in, although thanks to the Angels, for whom the Yankees usually have no thanks, the Yankees will wake up one game back in the wild card.

So just because Beckett beat the Yankees in '03 means he's gonna beat the Yankees in '07? It been 4 years and the team is a lot different then it was 4 years ago.
Anyways, they're all probably crying themselves to sleep now hoping they could pull out a win tomorrow.

The questions you ask make me sad. I thought that I had met some Yankees fans here that just loved baseball and their team and didnt need to bash anyone else. I apparently was wrong and that really stinks.

With all due respect to Yankee fans, there's still plenty of time left in the season. It's sure going to be interesting for the last 5 weeks of the season in all MLB Divisions.

Mrs. red sox fan.
DO YOU THINK YOU CAN STOP YELLING, THERE IS A LITTLE BUTTON CALLED "CAPS LOCK" ON THE SIDE NEXT TO THE "A" BUTTON push it.
Have you ever watched a game that did not have the red sox in it? (the all star game does not count).
Lets put baseball first then team loyalty.
