everybody brags about the Sox winning.

Is it because Sox fans are afraid to admit when they lose?

The Law, you can not brag about anything.

You're team is battling for last place so shut it.

I'm right here, and not ashamed to show my face, or the fact I love the Red Sox, no matter what.

And isn't that all that matters?

Well, I couldn't say anything since I haven't been on the comp. since before the game. I knew the Yankees would take at least one game, I just was horrified by what Yankee Stadium sounded like as a Sox fan. Usually, wherever the Sox play there is a huge contingency of their fans but, not in NY. I wasn't there but, I would be afraid to really be there..lol...THe Yankees are hungry and the Sox really will need to step it up to get a win there. That is how I really feel and,I am glad that we will at least walk away with a 5 game lead. Thank you Tigers for that! I am not slamming anyones team, just glad for what we have!

At this point this season, Red Sox wins almost count for double, since the Yankees will then have to overcome a deficit on both the wins and losses side of the column, while a Yankee win just lets them pull 1 tiny game closer.
I think it's time to focus on/count on the Wild Card, and plan on beating the Sawx (with Hughes and Chamberlain and Petite and robotic surgery for Clemens and somebody) in the playoffs if there is to be another Series in the Bronx.

Red Sox are 7 games up on the Yankees. "Nuff said, McGreavy shouted, we're not here to mess around." Beckett will shut down the Yankees on Wednesday and the Yankees have to sweep the Red Sox.

I'm as impartial as they come baseball wise. I try to be anyway. It looks like the Yankee rivalry with the Red Sox is the best in baseball. I think it works both ways. The White Sox and Cubs don't play in the same league and there's bashing and such here in Chicago just the same.

I live up here in New England and the red sox fan is what made me become a yankees fan, (since 1978 I was only 8 but even then I saw the writing on the wall).

The worst fans I have ever seen.

it should always be baseball first team second but not hear, its a nightmare.

I was thinking the same thing...not too much talk about that Yanks & Sox on here tonight...

Fans of the dirty sox are probably at the pub drowning their sorrows.

I did not brag when the White Sox beat that old dinosaur Clemens a while back!

-I also don't think fellow White Sox fans have much to brag about this year.

That's how it is with every team. Not just the Red Sox.

I'm an Angels fan and I enjoy watching the rivalry between you two clubs.
I just want to say-
Tomorrow is Beckett vs Clemens =
The Sox will surely take that game.
