I am trying to figure out if, Tommy Lasorda who was with the Dodgers for 20 years, is the record holder for being the manager with the same team the longest (no breaks in service).

No, it is not Lasorda, who ran the Dodgers for 21 seasons.

Mack ran the Athletics for 50 years, as noted.

John McGraw ran the NY Giants for 31 seasons, 1902-32.

Lasorda's predecessor, Walt Alston, had the Dodgers for 23 seasons (they overlapped in 1976).
