Who are the winners of the next games Sox or yankees
the pitching matchups are:
Game 2: Beckett (16-5) 3.21 era vs. Clemens(5-5) 4.34 era
Game 3: Schilling (8-5) 4.11 era vs. Wang(15-6) 3.94 era
im goin sox in the first and im clueless in the second, after series the lead will b 7 or 9

Honestly game 2 is going to be a much closer game than expected and it's going to come down to the bullpens. Thursday is an afternoon game which is a terrible idea in the first place. But Wang dominates Boston every time. If Clemens can give the Yankees 6+ innings tonight they will sweep. My reasons are that Beckett didn't shut down the Yankees his last time out against them so it's not sure to happen again, being one of the best pitchers in the league he will give a solid outting. Schilling has also struggled all season long and even more so against the Yankees. I was at the game last night and that special Yankee Stadium aura is BACK!!! If Boston is going to take one of these next two it will be tonight.

I think Beckett will be at the top of his game with Roger showing some old age the Sox grab this one. Game 3 depends on what Curt Schilling shows up. The Schilling with good command of his fb and splitter? or the one who hangs everything that ends up in the stikezone after 4 walks. we can only hope schill comes up big!

Beckett is pitching real good this year. I see Clemens bringing his "A" game tonight and the Yankees bats erupt.
Tomorrow Wang masters big mouthed Schilling and the Yankees sweep. Still a lot of work to be done.

Yanks will sweep the Red Sox hopefully.
Todays game will be hard because of Beckett but the Yankees have done especially well against Beckett for the past few years.
The third game the Yanks have a much better chance because Chien-Ming Wang is pitching.

I say that they each take one Beckett will win one and schilling will not have a good outing, I AM NOT SAYING THAT WANG IS GOOD NOT BY ANY MEANS But schilling will get screwed by Yankees hitting and the Redsox will put up a good fight but they will not pull it put. I hope im wrong

I think Beckett is better for sure but, Clemens may reach way back into his decrepid old body (he is only 2 yrs older than me..lol..) and have something to prove to his old team. As for Schilling, I hope he can reach back into his old body too..lol..I of course hope that the Sox take both though.

Believe it or not guys, the Yankees don't sweep every time they play the Sox.
However, I pick the Red Sox to win tonight, but the Yankees to win tommorrow.
That's realistic.

well the yanks already won those first 2 games and im taking them again in the third. wang is one of their best pitchers and i truly think schilling is overrated. he was great once but really hasn't done anything noteworthy this season.
