Not really...he's not in the bigs right now and hasn't been since 2004 with the Orioles. In 75 MLB games he has a .212 average with no home runs and 7 RBI's. He'll be 28 on the 31st so his time is running out to ever make an impact as a big leauger. He is currently playing for the Astros AAA team and is hitting .335 with 11 home runs 46 RBI's and 18 SB's in 93 games. He might get a call up when rosters expand, but don't expect him to ever be a star at the big league level.

He's a "4A" player - good enough to be good in AAA, but not good enough to be anything more than an injury replacement in the majors. And his dad was probably the second greatest leadoff hitter ever, but just had the misfortune of playing at the same time as the best one ever.

Not even close in ability to his dad and does not appear to be on his way to a prolonged career in the majors. He might be able to hang around as a back-up player and will find himself going from team to team if he stays in the majors.
