Statistically speaking, it should be between Omar Vizquel of the Giants and Troy Tulowitzki of the Rockies.
Remember offense does not matter!!!!!
Oh and no saying so and so because they are on my favorite team, that is bogus, and no sports fan would ever say that.

OK and which part of the why part of this question do you people not understand?
And don't forget that Tulowitzki would be the one who turned the unassisted triple play in April.

If you do not say why, you will be ignored and given a thumbs down period.

Jimmy Rollins should win but probably won't. Too much media attention elsewheree. (And We All Know Where).

You're right in that it's between those two, and I'd give it to Tulowitzki.

Vizquel still has the higher zone rating and makes all the plays he should make, but I think Tulowitzki more than makes up for that by getting to more grounders. TT's range factor blows away everyone else in the NL, which is very impressive. Considering that their fielding percentages are just about equal, I'd give a slight not to the Rockies' shortstop.

Good question, and I don't think the voters can go wrong by picking either of those guys. Nobody else even comes close in fielding measures to those two.

Deff Omar, hands down. At his age he has not missed a step. Well maybe a step. I live in the Bay Area and i have been to many Giant games, and watching him in warm-ups is a site to see.

I'm a Redsox fan.
Omar Vizquel, obviously. Look at him, he's so old, and he's in great condition.
All his barehanded stops and diving plays, Vizquel is bringing home the hardware.
