It's Braun easily, and I don't know how anyone can say that Young is even close.
Braun has an OBP that is 92 points higher than Young, which is a huge difference, and his slugging percentage is 175 points higher - Young isn't even in the same ballpark as Braun!!
The closest competition is TT in Colorado. He's got some nice offensive numbers, and he's got a legitimate shot at winning the Gold Glove at shortstop this year. Unfortunately, I think his numbers are hugely inflated by Coors Field - he hits .339 at home and .251 on the road, so I don't think he deserves to take votes from Braun.

Its no contest to Ryan Braun. He's put up better numbers than anyone else despite playing the first couple months in AAA. If he'd started out the season as the Brewers everday 3B he might be at 40 home runs instead of 30....

Hunter Pence was on his way to the crown before hurting his wrist and landing on the DL. Ryan Braun has been on fire since, and should take the title, unless his current funk continues and Pence can go back to his pre-DL form. Young has too low of an average, and Troy Tulo struggled too much over the first couple of months to have his name in the hat.

Definitely Ryan Braun, he'll hit over 30 homers as a rookie, and doing that is almost unheard of.

No question about it -- Ryan Braun. Not many veteran players r putting up numbers close to Braun's. There's no debate here.

Yep Ryan Braun.
The guy has been on HR tear and is batting like .335. Even steals bases and can play small ball as well.

You guys are all Chris Young haters, who has more homer? Young. Who's fielding percentage ois better? Young.
Braun may be the worst 3rd basemen i've ever seen, he needs to go to the outfield, or to the AL and be a DH
