Is the pitch ruled a ball, or a "do over"? I know the chances are slim , but watching the Verlander no-hitter highlights and seeing all those seagulls just made me wonder.

Being 7 games behind .500, 9 games behind the Tigers and Indians, having the worst batting average in the majors at .231, a horrible bullpen, and theres probably more bad stuff im forgeting but my point is do they have a realistic chance of making the playoffs or should they be sellers at the all star break? Also who should they trade at the break and for who?

I am out of school already and most games, especially the Minnesota Twins, are still starting at 7:00 p.m. When will they begin to start at about noon or before 6:00 p.m.?

Mangers pick 4 pitchers and 3 positons players as alternates for the All Star game, I guess the heat is on LaRussa to pick Bonds already. Personally I hope he doesnt.

These where mines.

1) Royals vs Yankees game 3 1980 Alcs= I will never forget how George Brett broke my heart when he homered off Gossage eliminating the Yankess in a 3 game sweep.

2) Game 7 World Series vs Arizona 2001.= Total collpase need i say more?

3) Game 7 Red sox finished their remarkable comeback from a 3-0 defecit= The moment they lost that game 6 i had a bad feeling Yanks where going to lose this one. It was bad enough they lost but in the way they lost thanks to Kevin Brown was just too much.

Runner ups= 2003 World series when they lost to the marlins & the 1995 Wild card playoff game 5 when they lost to the Mariners.

He struck out 12 ,walked 4 and no brewer got past first base. The defense made 2-3 key plays to help him get the no-no.In the 9th inning he was topping out at 102 mph on the radar gun.He had a nasty slider and changeup .

Was it wrong to flip the bat like that? I mean he is a pitcher and won't have many opportunities to hit homeruns.

I distinctly remember seeing it right after game 7 of the ALCS in 2004 but, I have never seen it in any highlight videos. Then again I may have been delirious at that point...lol...I think I had about 3 hours total sleep that week. Did anyone else see that? He did a little jig. It was really funny. I know Yankees fans will mock me for it but, thats ok..go ahead if it makes you feel better...

I used to be able to overlook his defense because he swings a good bat. At this point though, his defense is just too horrendous to be ignored. I think the cubs would be better with Jim Abbott behind the plate. Hell, if Ray Charles played baseball, the cubs might be better off digging up his corpse and throwing him behind the plate. What do you all think? A blind corpse for a catcher, or Michael Barrett?

I read a question early about someone getting traded which lead me to an interesting question for baseball fans. What player do you think could and would be moved to help out YOUR team. Lets be real here. I know my Astros aren't going to be cutting any deals for A-Rod. So lets talk about deals that are legitimately possible. Give the trade scenario and why it would help your team

In a baseball game last night at our little league park, there was a play at home plate where the baserunner was clearly tagged on the stomach prior to reaching the plate on a sliding play. As he continued his slide, the ball fell out of the catcher's glove as his chin hit the glove. The umpire called the runner out even though the ball was loose from the catcher. His ruling was that the runner was out on the initial contact, not the second contact with the glove during the play, which knocked the ball loose. Should the runner have been safe or out?

As we all know, had Ken Griffey Jr stayed healthy his entire career, he would be right up there with Barry trying to pass Hank Aaron around this time. Pretending Griffey was healthy for his entire career, and he and Bonds were dead even in this HR race, who would you rather see break it? Most of Griffeys injuries have been from him being the man in center and slamming into the wall at full speed.
