I read a question early about someone getting traded which lead me to an interesting question for baseball fans. What player do you think could and would be moved to help out YOUR team. Lets be real here. I know my Astros aren't going to be cutting any deals for A-Rod. So lets talk about deals that are legitimately possible. Give the trade scenario and why it would help your team

I am going to give you a very realistic trade that actually could happen. The Dodgers have a shot at the playoffs but really lack offensively. They need a big bat and some pop in their lineup to take some pressure off their pitching staff. I know they have their eye on Adam Dunn, on the Reds, and could get him for some minor league talent and maybe a bench player on their current roster. The Reds won't be able to sign Dunn and would be willing to trade him for almost anything they feel might help them in the future. I believe this would be a great move for the Dodgers to, at least, give them a shot this year.

My team The Tigers. I see a possible trade with Craig Monroe and Jason Grilli for Jeremy Hermida and the young prospect Scott Olsen from the Marlins. This trade would benefit my team because Hermida is a better all around hitter than Craig. Losing Grilli hurts but I think Olsen will be a solid pitcher someday. So this helps my team now and into the future.

I'm a Mets fan, so the most realistic trade I think would be for an outfielder. Moises Alou is too old, he's hurt and he's not coming back. Dealing a young pitcher like Mike Pelfrey and a young outfielder like Milledge to Tampa Bay for Carl Crawford or Chicago for Jermaine Dye might be something they could pull off.
