Why do so many people assume that Jujutsu means BJJ/Gracie/only ground techniques?
I can't even tell what people mean when they say "Jiu Jitsu" on here.

Why do so many people assume Jujutsokas from a Japanese or American or some other system, or a Judoka, aren't proficient on the ground?
Don't they know that Brazilian Jujutsu was born from Judo, which was born from Japanese Jujutsu that had been used on the battlefield for hundreds of years?
I know MMA has become really popular, but people should at least make an attempt to educate themselves on the history and lineage of Jujutsu.

I has never made sense to me that a player could have an assist and the play could be up to 4 points. 10 assists that all go for 3 pointers is equal to 15 2 point assists, then you add in the fouls for the 3 or 4 point plays. I also think that potential assisted points should be kept track of, it would be nice to know the total number of points a player was responsible for as a stat.

Ok so i've practice Karate for several years, Aikido and Aikibudo. I Meet a tai chi teacher who is now a friend of mine and give tai-chi a try. i was wondering is tai-chi a good martial art? I do enjoy doing tai-chi and the martial application of it comme naturaly. I've meet some unfriendly guy in a street the other day and the tai-chi baisic just came to the surface and help me defend myself. I Know that to learn martial tai-chi is something who take time. But with time can it be a good martial art to defend yourself? I've hurt one of my knee and that's why i've stop aikido and karate, with tai-chi i didn't have any trouble, in fact my knees just go better :) but i'm searching for a real martial art with i can defend myself and the other and in wich i can spend time to learn combat technic.

In my opinion its Tom Brady his win loss record and his all-time passer rating speak for him. I'm pretty sure a qb rating of 92.8 is the highest by anyone. Best running back of all-time. Going by pure skill I have to take Jim Brown or Barry Sanders. Going by skill and long jevity i take Walter Payton or Emmit Smith. I find it hard to pick just one running back.

Imagine two NFL teams from the same Conference faced each other in the Conference Championship game. But what if both teams had the same win and losing record, and by coincidence they both have the same number of touchdowns through out the season and both of their percentage records were equal to each other. If that was the case, which team would get homefield advantage?
