I recently bought a real big one (sleeps 12) at Walmart. It way too big for my needs so I ended up returning it. It was like a portable house!!!
I guess you can try to buy after X-mas as they will go on sale for sure.

Try a Military surplus outlet. My Dad got one there for pennies on the dollar.
