I am having trouble deciding on where to spend Thanksgiving. I was given 2 tickets to attend the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game. The seats are on the 45yd line, 9 rows from the field; however, last month, I informed my family that I I would fly home to enjoy Thanksgiving with them. Now that I have these tickets I am having troubling making a decision. I love my family and I am a huge Cowboy fan. What should I do?

What about Ernie Banks and Ron Santo? What about the multitude of Hall of Famers NOT on a World Series winning team? Isn't it PITCHING that has been the bane of the Yankees' post season? Or is Ted Williams undeserving of his MVP and his Hall of Fame selection? What gives?

It would be really cool if Dolphins go winless...I think it would be true justice for what Don Shula stated againts the Patriots. I mean, Patriot world never talks about him, never critized him, he messed up indeed. I guess it would be kind of a curse if Miami doesn't win any games. I also think it would backfire on Shula for opening his big mouth...maybe you think these 2 records would have nothing to do with each other but still I believe Shula must pay for his comments and by Dolphins going 0-16, it would be really awesome.

So what do you say?

A rare length for mtb stems seem to be 60mm to 70mm in length. I've taken a look online but there seems to be stems 50mm and shorter only.
The bar size I would like to run is 31.8mm diameter.
What is available out there?

Hi, I'm running the Christmas competition at our local pistol range and I was looking for suggestions. We usually shoot static paper at 10 and 20 metres and hope to look into practical in the new year. We use .22 up to .45. I want to do a competition that doesn't just favour the experienced shooters and that will be a bit of fun with a good chance for novices to win a prize. There'll be probably only 15 shooters at max. Suggestions regarding reindeer mounted targets are not welcome!

ok I need a little help. I do a pool with friends, just picks and points for monday game for tiebraker. I do pretty good and usually lose by 1 or on the tiebraker.
There are a few games this week I am a little stuck on. They seem pretty evenly matched and some teams I haven't had a chance to actually watch play. Any help would be great.
Please try not to be bias.
If you could give reasons you believe a certain team will win, that would be great.
Thanks so much.

Cleveland @ Baltimore
Arizona @ Cincinatti
New Orleans @ Houston
SanDiego @ Jacksonville
Oakland @ Minnesota
NY Giants @ Detroit

If you were a current player in the NHL, and you had a superpower, that was better than anyone in the history of the NHL (yet your other skills were average), what would that superpower be?

Example:
>Having the ability to skate faster than anyone else in the league
>Having the ability to skate the most accurate in the league
>Having the ability to shoot the most accurately in the league
>Having the fastest slapshot in the league
>Being able to read other players/coaches minds
>Being able to skate backwards, faster than you can skate forwards
>Or come up with your own

Who won the NL MVP for MLB?

2007-11-15 01:41:17 · 10 answers · asked by badfish 1 in Baseball

In Italy, the number 17 is considered unlucky. Some Alitalia planes have no row 17, some Italian hotels have no room 17 and in Roman numerals XVII is an anagram of VIXI which translates into "I have lived" with the implication "my life is over" or "I am dead".

Italy play Scotland in a crucial Euro 2008 qualifier at Hampden Park on Saturday, 17 November with kick-off at 1700 GMT - for the record, Italy have won four of their 11 matches played on the 17th of a month in the last 30 years.

PLACE YOUR BETS FOLKS ON SCOTLAND IF YOU WANT TO WIN SOME CASH. HAAA AAAH.

Would you be fussing that your team should be banned? NO.. you'd be defending your team.

Would you be fussing that your team cheated? NO....

Would you demand that your coach be suspended? NO...

Would you be acting like a bunch of babies? NO.. you'd be bragging on your team...

Would other team's fans be acting like a bunch of whining babies? yes... that's what's been happening for nearly 3 months...

grow up and accept what happened, get over it, and move on..

There is a solid outfielder playing in Japan by the name of Kosuke Fukudome that wants to come to MLB and the Cubs are interested. In addition, the Cubs are also interested in three very good pitchers from Japan by the names of Hitoki Iwase, Kenshin Kawakami, and Hiroki Kuroda. Fukudome could come to the Cubs in 2008 and the others in 2009. Maybe the Cubs could win their first world series in 100 years if they get these players, how would you Cubs fans feel about that?
