I want to assemble a lighter bike than my marin pallesides. I know companents are also a big factor and I'm good with a group set of Shimano XT.

Now, I'd like to ask if anyone has an idea or a suggestion of what FS frame I should buy?

Giant's Anthem Advanced seems to be quite light at 22lbs (build bike), is there any other competitor out their aside from this?

thanks.

For people who'll ask about the budget, how much do think an anthem advanced would cost? For your heart's content the budget is around $1-2K

I think it would depends on how much money you want to spend.

Titus about 2 years ago published a 19lbs Racer-X. That was an aluminium frame, now they have a carbon fiber one that should be lighter.

Also, it depends on how much money you want to spend.
