Why do they always assume that I practice karate if they hear I'm a martial artist?
No, I do not practice karate. I practice Tae Kwon Do and Aikido. Why must you always assume that I practice karate? I see you holding up a pair of cleats, I must assume you play soccer, even if your uniform has a football shaped logo on it.
Why must you move around like you're trying to wax a car on acid when I say I do martial arts?
What makes them think they could beat us in a fight with a strong right punch? Don't they know that's the first thing we're looking for and we probably would know 5 ways how to counter that punch and break their solar plexus? If their strong right hand was really that good, you wouldn't be some out of shape bum on the street, you would belong to a boxing gym, and even if they were boxers, they wouldn't start off with a strong right haymaker, they'd pepper you with jabs.
That is all.
