vince's fake death, cause he had to eat serious crow the monday night that the benoit story was released. and he's still living that one down to this day.

After the Benoit tragedy, Vince had to appear on TV and admit "Mr. McMahon's" death was just a storyline. And the Benoit thing blew the doors off the whole drug-use in pro sports (not just the WWE).
Second runner-up was that whole "Katie Vick" abomination.
The "Clique" incident was embarrassing but it wasn't broadcast on national TV.
