He was complaining about top five finishes and publicly criticizing his crew. As far as I'm concerned, he's getting what he deserves.
It was the late great Dale Earndhardt that said NEVER complain about top fives, as those are what wins championships.

I have to agree I mean for the first couple of weeks all he did was complain about how his crew kept screwing him from a victory. And now he won't win the championship and I agree he is getting what he deserves. And it's true taht top fives win chapionships.

I stopped liking Hamlin earlier in the year. His attitude and big mouth really sucks. I had heard from fans that he was a jerk and didn't believe it until this year. The guy is really stuck on himself. Once he opened his mouth to Petty about how "I am in the chase so you need to move" he went to my do not like list. I mentioned i hope he finishes 12th in the chase on another question last week and i still stick to it.

He is young and he will learn when to talk and when to shut up and drive. There's nothing wrong with being outspoken, just don't slam your crew in front of everyone.

Whinelin is the biggest crybaby in sports. When he wrecks you, that is just racing, but if you wreck him, God help you. he got his crew fired for making one mistake, to bad that he does not hold himself to such high standards.i hope that he ends up racing in the truck series, I bet that his old crew, some of them are working for Hendrick now, are laughing there asses off right now. Serves that little creep right.

He is just another young brat out there, he has great potential, but his mouth seems to bite him everytime.. Theres nothing wrong with top 5 finishes...grow up...

I started out this year as a Denny Hamlin fan and I still am.I agree he still has the taste of his foot in his mouth and I am still standing behind him as being a champion.

He should have thought before he spoke. he can't talk crap about he's crew and not get burn. He needs to realize you get what you deserve when you run your mouth.
