i had him, ended up dropping him right before he blew up this past weekend and am debating whether or not he is worth my time...he is inconsistent and im not sure if he will score decent fantasy points on a regular basis...my other WR's include chris chambers, brandon marshall, reggie wayne, dwayne bowe, and patrick crayton..im assuming crayton might be uselss in a few weeks once glenn gets healthy and chambers is just plain uselss this year...d-bowe is under utilized by a bad QB and reggie just isnt scoring alot of fantasy points...

No.....Brady spreads the ball around to much to rely on ANY Patsy WR to give you any consistent points.

You have good WR's....and do not assume that Glenn will even return this season. Crayton has performed very well and Glenn will not be rushed back into action.

Depends how hurt Watson is. Chambers looked good with Lemon at QB this weekend, so I'd wait and see how that pans out. Welker may be Brady's hot receiver on blitzes, but that doesn't really translate to lots of yardage, it's a different story if you're in a points per reception league. His performance this weekend was in large part to Watson's injury, Until Watson got hurt, Welker had one touchdown all year. If anything I'd drop Crayton for Welker, but I'm a Welker fan.

Well it depends. Welker really doesn't upgrade your wide receiver roster at all, but could be an asset if the others have an unfavorable matchup. I would probably pick him up for Week 8 when Dallas and Kansas City are both on the bye and the Patriots face Washington. However Washington is ranked fifth in passing defense, and Brandon Marshall and Reggie Wayne face weak pass defenses in Green Bay and Carolina. Go ahead and pick him up, but don't expect a lot from week to week.

i would drop chambers and pick up welker.

in the short term: NE vs Miami during Week 7. tom brady's gonna pick apart the "defense" and any NE receiver could have a big day

in the long run: even if the welker isnt very consistent, the patriots are the top team right now and tom brady does spread the ball around.

Welker is Brady's first outlet. If Moss or Stalworth are covered, the ball goes to Welker. Now that everyone is doulbe covering Moss - Welker is going to be open a lot. I had both Welker and Stalworth this weekend - yee haw.
