Here goes Stewart again blaming someone else for his mistake. He blamed the 15 and the 9 for hitting him. Isn't it the responsibility of his crew chief and spotter to tell him when to leave the pit? He is shooting his mouth off again, same ole, same ole.

Tony doesnt take responsibility for anything. Its never his fault or his teams fault. Its not there fault they didnt pit in kansas when they had a tire rub it is mother natures fault because it didnt keep raining, it wasnt his fault he was bump drafting denny hamlin 20 laps into the pepsi 400 and wrecked both cars...If tony ever decides to take responsibility for something the earth may stop turning. I would have rather lost 5 positions on pit road then force my way back on to the track and risk getting my car damaged like tony did.

Tony certainly is one of the more 'vocal' talents of NASCAR.

Here's where I'm going to enjoy getting something crammed down my throat for my opinion. ;)

Tony tends to shoot off at the mouth like any of the other big names. Why? Because he wins races and knows that gets him 'respect'. Tony gets wrecked? It must've been some other driver's 'inferiour' skills. Jeff Gordon smacks Juan Pablo Montoya around? Must've been that crazy Brazillian driving against such a legend too roughly.

Very rarely do you get a big name that'll keep their cool. I'll give it to names like Mark Martin, Dale Earnhardt Junior, and Jimmie Johnson. Those guys can take a crash, blown out motour, or wreck and turn it into an 'unfortunate event'.

Is Tony chomping at the bit? Of course. Don't ever look for it to change, either. It's just who he is.

True with all you said, but add that the crew cheifs for the cars involved are also to blame.
The cheif for Tony has the most responsability for the saftey of the team including the safe entering and exiting of the pits, but so are the cheifs for the other cars.

I see that this is a question to pump up the egos of the haters, but I will answer it anyway.
It wasn't Smoke who criticized the #15 crew, it was Zippadelli.

Tony Stewart rarely accepts responsibility, I think he did accept responsibility for winning his championship, but anything bad isn't his fault. Tony's spotters should have been watching and told him when it was ok to go.

Yeah I see it as a bit of winning but look at it full circle and two guys that have absolutely No chance of winning a championship and are securely in the provisional qualifying system do not let up and hurt his chances of a championship.

It beats when Matt spun by himself. I was so mad watching that, then the redsox lose in 11 innings. Tony has nothing to wine about.

On Inside Nextel Cup they addressed this issue and all the drivers on there said that the 15 was wrong to accelerate when he saw Tony leaving, the mess with the 9 was collateral after that

Tony is just being Smoke, the two pit crews/spotters should have seen this was coming.. Tony is in the chase, and thinks everyone out there is trying to keep him from winning.. Theres really no excuse for this happening at lowes theres plenty of room in the pit area, and room for cars coming in, the crews missed the call on this one....But then since its Tony its never him or his crew that makes the mistake....

he always blames everybody else... it is never his fault or his crew or spotters same ole same ole is right.... if he was the one that hit someone in the same way it would be the other persons fault this is not unusual tony just needs to stop with the mouthing off....

I'd like to see your source because all I heard Tony say was that it wasn't anyones fault and I heard Zippy take the blame for it. Maybe I missed something though, enlighten me.
