Unless another team steps up in the NFC I'dd say the Cowboys are the NFC favorites right now but no one is dead yet. AFC is wide open as well despite all this talk about the unstoppable New England Patriots they still have yet to play some of the upcoming AFC teams like the titans and the steelers in the post season.

But either way whoever wins the AFC will win the superbowl.

The Cowboys will get there by default because the NFC does not have any other team that really stands out. However, they will not win because their defense is too porous; they can not stop anyone. The AFC rep will be NE. I think they are way too strong(on both sides of the ball) and have way too many weapons. Indy is about find out how good NE is.

I thought you Cowboy fans would go away after being crushed by the Patriots.
Funny thing is before the game you all were saying you would see us at the SB but now your questioning if you'll make it...
Funny, very funny.
Who knows. All I can say is that any AFC team that plays any NFC team in the SB will win.
NFC stinks again.

magic 8 ball says...Hell if I know.

The NFC is such a mess right now...It could quite literally be any team, since they all seem to to go Jekyll and Hyde on any given week.

I would Give them a slight edge.....But Most of the NFC north is still alive (How?...seems impossible.....home to 4 of the most boring teams forever...and Now? Crazy)

But it would also be unwise to completely count out the Panthers...who are quitely starting to pull it together again.....

And the Skins, or Even the Giants have the ability to pull an upset on virtually any yteam.

Still the Cowboys have been the most consistent, with only one bad game...which they somehow won....and a good game against the Pats, that simply wasn't good enough.

I am hoping the packers make it. I am not a fan, but I would like to see the old man do it after everyone said he was done. I really can't see anyone other than the pack or the boys. Maybe the redskins.

It is between the Cowboys and the Packers (if the Packers get their run game going).

One of them will face the Colts....with the NFC bringing home the Lombardi Trophy.

The Cowboys will make it. The Defense just have to step up and stay healthy.

I would have to say yes because who in the NFC is going to beat them? You could probably get 8 different answers to the question who is the second best team in the NFC and only one non homer/non hater answer for who the best is. So in short yes they are the big front runner but the greatness in football is the concept of any given Sunday.

I honestly feel like it will be the Packers and NE. Especially if it could possibly be Favre's last season.. it would be a storybook ending to his career.

Besides, TO will be to busy buttering his popcorn with his butterfingers while watching the SB.
