I got the Pats minus 4. Will this discourage or inspire the Pats? What will be the effect on the Bolts? I think that these guys are professionals and, once the game starts, it becomes a regular ol' game.

If the Pats' o-line gives Brady time, NE wins by 10 or 14. If not, then it's a 2-3 point game and I dunno who wins. I don't think that the Bolts score more than 17 against NE.

I am really doubtful he can keep it up at this pace for another five years. His body is really taking a beating. I give him another two full years at the current peak.
Don't get me wrong, Nadal is a great player and he will hang around tennis for a long time but not at the current pace of dominating clay and being a serious contender at grand slams. On the other hand, I see Federer being at his current or close to current peak for a long time, at least five years. What do you guys think?

USC has struggled with a very unimpressive win the first weak, I think they are way to weak to handle a team of Nebraska's caliber.

That makes 5 t.u. players arrested since June 1, and I think 7 or 8 since this time last year. Is Mack Brown going to have to go back to college to get a degree in criminal justice so that his players can come to practice and see their probation officer at the same time?

I think the NFL's credibility has been shattered by the commissioner's gentle slap on the wrist of the Patriots. mere fines and a draft pick? are you kidding me? Bill Belichick was caught flagrantly cheating after repeated warnings ON FIELD during a NFL game. Bill Belichick should be banned for life or minimally suspended for an entire season. Michael Vick and Pac man Jones were both severely suspended for OFF FIELD actions, Yet the commish somehow feels that rampant cheating that has negatively affected the outcome of numerous games including regular season, playoff and yes even Superbowl games isn’t worthy of a suspension. Commissioner hang your head in shame this is Pro sports worst scandal since the Black Sox. If I were commish for a day I would ban Bill Belichick for life, fine the Patriots all of their 2008 draft picks. Ban the Patriots from the playoffs for at least 7 seasons the same as Belichick's reign of cheating. Watch and see if the fines aren't just picked up by the team.

Mill Creek, WA. and is an amazing left-handed power hitter. He will be the next Jim Thome, mark my words. Plays first base, DH, Right Field and Left Field. The Blue Jays suck anyway and are out of the race. Bring him up for the last 2 weeks of the season, or certainly put him on the roster for 2008. Remember his name, Travis Snider. He will be big in a few years.

OK - First I want to say I appreciate all the feedback I've received on this question. Second, I want to apologize to anyone I've offended with what I had to say. I didn't have enough space to write everything I wanted, including knowing about barrel harmonics, differences in velocity, bullet weights and designs, etc. I've studied all this for years, trying to be the mad scientist making the perfect load, screaming with joy when I find it. Then I get an answer like the one I reacted to, and it just set me off, like he looked it up on Wikipedia or read it on the back of an Airsoft Box. So, I'm sorry....
Now, I'm still confused. I've floated my barrel. I've always accepted that different ammo reacts differently. Cheek-weld is the same. Squeezing the trigger the same. Breathing out half-way and fire. Etc. I guess I have to accept that I don't like that ammo and need to get reloading today so I won't encounter that again.

I find it funny that the sportscasters and journalists are bashing the Pats, questioning the validity of their Super Bowl runs, and otherwise being harsh on the team and the coaches, but nobody seems to want to touch the Golden Boy, Brady.

Has he been so good all this time because he knew what the defenses were going to do? You have to believe it has had some degree of effect on his performance.

If a child plays during kick off and is only put in at times during specialty plays, what does this mean?
Is the player normally a over all good player? Or is it for a player that is only good at what he does for one kind of thing?
I am not sure i am getting this out right.
I was watching a game and the mother said my son plays the whole game almost. And an other mother said mine is only in for specialty plays. So, I began to wonder is one player better then the other? They are on different teams. But one plays the same position during the whole game. And the other is brought in for the times needed on harder plays.
Sorry, I do not have that much knowledge about football.
Your input could really help.

As far as I can see the worst accusation that can be levelled at Ron Dennis and the SEM of Mclaren is incompetence, because they failed to notice and stop the email exchange between Couglan and Alonso and Pedro. But that is no reason to fine Mclaren. They did not solicit the information and neither did they knowingly use it to gain an advantage. You cannot vicariously punish a company for the criminal activity of an individual employee. Ergo, case closed against corporate Mclaren and its CEO. Alonso and Coughlan used the information and therefore they and they alone should be fined by the FIA . In my view, Mclaren should prosecute all three (de la Rosa, Alonso and Coughlan) in a UK court for bringing the name of Mclaren into disrepute. Failing that, if I was Ron Dennis I'd dock Alonso's and Pedro's salary this year by $100m. Simple as that. Ohyeh, and obviously boot Alonso's moaning a.rse into touch as soon as he crosses the finish line at Interlagos. Which I am sure Ron will do.

I have felt for a very long time (I am 65, male) that most sports if not all are fixed..Take basketball, how may times have you seen one team winning by 25 points but down to the last 2 - 3 minutes the game is tie.....Football you always see a pass or a run that should have been made is not. Baseball , the score is close with the bases loaded two out and 2 strikes on the batter, the next pitch is a CALLED third strike. These people are suppose to be making so much money are should be good ball players yet this happens. Is it the refs, the coachs, the players or is it just plain luck....Well I do not believe it is luck, one or more has turned a win to a loss.. With the refs in basketball and the problem with camers in football and the drugs in baseball there are a lot of problems in sports.....It has driven me away from pro basketball and football. I use to love baseball but it is started to drive me away also.. DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL THE SAME WAY AS I DO ??????
