The New York Yankees. Take your pick. 1927: Ruth, Gehrig, Meusel, Lazzeri, Combs. 1936: Gehrig, Lazzeri, DiMaggio, Dickey, Selkirk. 1941: DiMaggio, Dickey, Henrich, Keller, Gordon and a spunky rookie named Rizzuto. 1961: Mantle, Maris, Berra, Howards, Skowron. 1978: Jackson, Munson, Nettles, Chambliss, Piniella, Rivers. 1996: Jeter, Williams, O'Neill, Martinez, Boggs, Fielder. 2007: Jeter, Rodriguez, Posada, Matsui, Damon, Cano, Cabrera.
"The A-Team," J-Far? I realize that at the time, a Met fan might have been so depressed by his team's ineptitude that he didn't go see many movies, but in "Rocky III," Mr. T got his clock cleaned by Sylvester Stallone, who's actually not all that big -- in fact, the reason Mr. T was cast is because he's not that much bigger, so they'd both look big.

I went to the historical stats section of MLB.com and ran the combined team hitting stats for all seasons 1901-2006. Here are the results. They're slightly skewed because if one team went by different names during it's existence, each name is treated as a separate team, but at least it will give you a general idea.
I've never heard of the Cleveland Bronchos--maybe they were the Indians before they were called the Indians?
Michael P, I think J-Far was only referring to the B.A. Baracus Mr T. not the Clubber Lang Mr. T. Although he did have one of my all time favorite movie quotes in that movie.
"Clubber, what's your prediction for the fight?"
"Pain"
