Well said Iceman, LSU Balls. I agree, K.C. +13 is nice.

I think that line is a joke. It should be -4 to -6 in that range

The bears will be luck to score 13points their offense is so meager. I see this game being like 13-7, 16-10 something like that...

I highly doubt Chicago covers that one, I am taking the cheifs.

Sure, give me thumbs down... but remember this post when the terribly overrated, no offense bears squek out a 3 point win on a field goal.

Herm Edwards is a very "conservative" coach. He prefers low scoring games, where defense wins the day.

The Bears have one of the two best defenses in the league.

Considering both those, it's pretty logical to take Chicago and give the points.

Furthermore, last week, the Chiefs lost pretty badly to a weak Texans team 20-3. If the Chiefs could only score 3 points against the Texans, they'll have a ton of trouble against the Bears. Mix in the fact that the Chiefs defense is in the bottom quarter of the league, and you have a recipe for Chicago (-13) being a good bet.

Hope that helps,

Sparxmith

Firstly, I am not a Bears fan. I am a Lions fan so by proxy I am not a Bears fan. That said, they will destroy KC this week. Here are a few reasons why:
1.Damon Huard is 1-3 Agiainst the spread (ATS) on the road since 2003.
2.The Chiefs are 9-15 ATS on the road since 2004.
3.Herm Edwards is 2-3 ATS on the road following a road loss.
The points spread here should realistically be 15-17. As we speak 82% of the money is on Chicago.

Chicago 38 KC 0

Last week chicago did pretty good job of containing the explosive Chargers offense only giving up those 2 touchdowns. And this week they're gonna play KC with a horrible QB, which means that their passing game is going to be horrible and the only thing that can save them is Larry Johnson and thats not that hard.

As bad as Chicago's offense looked agaisnt the chargers it is almost guaranteed they will put up 21 against a horrible K.C. defense. On the flip side the Bears might have the best defense in the league.

Except for a couple of flukes....Bears played well against the Chargers......KC won't have the guns against the Bear defense....even with the two injuries on D....they are deep...look for Grossman to step up the pace........13 and the over is a good bet.

I am not. The Chiefs and the Cowboys are my picks of the week in the NFL. I think the Bears will win by a touchdown at the most.

Because KC is getting shut out, so all Chicago has to do is score 2 touchdowns and they are certainly due.
