No... videotaping has been going on for ages... it has become common ground in the NFL, it's just I am not sure why Bill wasn't a little more discrete about it... I mean, if he really thought it was wrong why not have him up in the booth doing this instead of on the sidelines in front every Tom, Dick & Harry in the Meadowlands. What this whole thing really boils down too is a game of one ups manship between Mangini and Bill. Ok... now we can get back to football, the Patriots can prove this weekend that they are more then capable of beating the best team in the NFL without videocameras and they can roll on with their season... while every other team finds more secretive ways to tape others signal calling. IT's gonna keep happening no matter what the rules are... this is football, just the Patriots had to be called out on it. And Eagles fans, you have a great team... but stop trying to make excuses... the fact is the NFC sucks in comparison to the AFC... sorry. It is now official... EVERYONE "cheats"... it's part of football, get your head out of your ***... Andy Reid does it too, that's why him and McNabb came out and said the Pats won the superbowl fair and square... they know the deal. And also... 49ers and Cowboys used to do it too. ;-)

I say, let them still have the win, although its tainted, they will know they didn't really win those games. Then, take the Super Bowl rings away from them, take whatever trophies away from them, and let the books stay the way they are.

The thing is, anyone playing the Patriots will know of their tricks. The NFL will probably have more security looking for cheaters at every game, and all should be as fair as it can be. There will still be a little cheating going on, but it will be all part of the game, and not soemthing someone goes out of their way to do. It will be something like, reading lips, or something like that. Nothing as major as it was.

No. I think The Eagles want more for themselves than to be handed a win based on a forfeit from The Pats. As a Pats fan, i could not be more disgusted. Bill's apology wasn't sincere (he 'misunderstood" the commissioners rules? pleeezzzze)!! He should be terminated now. I feel bad for the players with talent that will forever be questioned and for the NFL for having such bad press that will taint the great game. Rock on athletic organizations - cheating, steroids....what's next? yuk. But to answer your question, I'm sure The eagles wouldn't want a win this way

Stealing of signs has been going on for years and will continue. I can't believe teams don't change signs regularly or try and disguise them. Also, how does a team steal a sign and get it into their team in time for that play? Eagles lost and the Jets still would have lost the game. Moss had 3 defenders on him and still scored on a TD pass. Guess the stolen signs negated the 3 defenders.

inspite of the undeniable fact that Vick has been on a comeback, his final sport wasn't the suitable. i might probably might desire to declare that this is between 4 communities interior the NFL: New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons, and New Orleans Saints.

nope. there is no proof the pats cheating in that game. And you could say i am being naive and i am not sticking up for the patriots in any way because i am not a patriots fan however the patriots can only be pushished for the times they have been caught. hopefully this will be a lesson to never do it again.

by the way, give it up with philly winning a superbowl. its not going to happen in yours or my lifetime.
