I just read an article on restoring faith in the Seattle D, what faith? I always thought that team was completely overrated. They were getting big plays pulled on them left and right last season, and the season before that the only reason they got to the super bowl was because everyone else in the NFC suspect. Hassleback is accurate but I don't think he's as good as everyone thinks he is, the team is slowly becoming old and yes Alexander is still one of the NFL's premier backs but his best days are behind him. What do you guys think?

This guy is obviously a very talented baseball player, but I thought the way he conducted himself with the Rangers was really pompous and stupid. Good riddance, Tex.

emphisis on pound for pound! im talking about the actual school, town and gametime atmosphere. once again pound for pound, its easy to say michigan, penn state or tennessee with 100k+ fans in the stands, 50k+ students and national tv coverage but does that compare with 60k screaming at hawaii with no or minimal tv coverage, thousands of miles from the nearest school, little local recruit base and a school with 20k students? no! i have been to over 50 different stadiums and games across divisions and i have to say pound for pound, fan for fan, student for student, citizen for citizen i believe that best college football atmoshere is........ the univesity of montana!( im an east coast guy that didnt go to montana or was born in montana) when you consider the school has 12k students the town has 60k and the state has right at a million people, you will be blown away by the way that program is embraced by the people of western montana!

For example, many players that have only had one at bat this season have averages of 1,000, but Alex Rodriguez's average is currently considered the highest. How many at bats (at bats per games played so far in the season) are needed to be in the running for offensive statistical categories?

Here are the top candidates I found for the most powerful guns one can fire from his shoulder. Each has various loads. Which ones have the most KO power by John Taylor's system, and which kick the hardest? This question has been asked, but most people are unaware of all of these calibers. Muzzle energy gives undue credit to velocity. Taylor uses momentum and diameter in his tables of KO Values. The .50 BMG load given has 12,775 ft-lbs of energy, for example.
