I just read an article on restoring faith in the Seattle D, what faith? I always thought that team was completely overrated. They were getting big plays pulled on them left and right last season, and the season before that the only reason they got to the super bowl was because everyone else in the NFC suspect. Hassleback is accurate but I don't think he's as good as everyone thinks he is, the team is slowly becoming old and yes Alexander is still one of the NFL's premier backs but his best days are behind him. What do you guys think?

Couldn't agree with you more. After the SuperBowl loss to the Steeler's - everyone else was to blame, the refs, etc. - no one stopped to say the Seahawks blew it. Even the coach whined - and now after behaving so immaturely, they want their faith restored. Give me a break -grow up, behave like men and make the big plays and your true fans will always have faith even during the rough years.

To be honest I've thought Hassleback was overrated the last few years. Is it just me or did he suddenly become "great"? You basically never heard of the guy until about 2-3 years ago. Yeah the team is overrated.

I would say they are overrated. However, I think they still win the NFC West this season. The 49ers and Cardinals are up and coming, and are the future of the NFC West, but I think the Seahawks still have the edge for one more year.

I do. When the 49ers beat you twice in one season you are overrated. On just about any other team Hassleback would be a backup.

I agree - I think their best days are behind them. To begin with, they made it to the play offs on a 9-7 record, and only managed to pass the Wild Card round on a fluke. Not saying their entire team is bad they still have a fairly potent offense, but the will likely see more competition in the NFC West.

i don't even think they are rated that high in overall rankings. Itz the beginning of the football season with training camp , heck even the Texans are said to have a very improved team and a shot at the superbowl. The fact remains there are only a few teams that will legitimatley contend for a title.

oh and i agree the seahawk fanz are a joke they still can't get over losing to the steelers and complain that the refs fixed the game... even though they got dominated.. and imma ravens fan

Highly, alexander is not what he was two seasons ago. Matt hassleback is slipping, their best player now is D. Branch. Look for the Rams to win that division this year

Man!! people really hate good teams...

I don't know why you would say there overrated, because everyone is saying how there no good and the 49's are the team.

Don't be jeolous. Can't wait to roll over everyones team this year with our overrated team.

That's kind of tricky. I think the Seahawks are a decent team - good enough to win the conference, but like you, I think they are overrated ONLY because of how they have fallen short of glory.

But they got game.

I cant stand Seattle or their fans.

I went to the Cowboys Seahawks game last year. A game by the way the cowboys should have won. The fans are rude and obnoxious. They think the Hawks are the NFC elite. What a joke...
