Has there ever been a major league pitcher that could pitch with both arms and is there a rule about whether a pitcher can pitch from one set arm in a game or not?

This just hit me tonight. Let's say Manny retires a Red Sox player and gets his ten years in Beantown. After gaining entrance to the Hall of Fame, the Sox retire his #24 in a glorious ceremony...

My problem is this...what about Dwight Evans? Dwight is a Red Sox HOFer who also wore #24 and won about 9 gold gloves and put up some of the biggest numbers is Sox history. Plus, the #24 will hang over the right field corner, where Dwight was at his finest....

Do you see #24 as legendary Dwight Evans, or as Manny Ramirez...

I foresee a showdown...

Good day. Came across comments from various gun site and magazine describing a pistol as "good out of the box." Generally, does it mean that some pistols are not safe to use or would require modification prior first use?

Thank you.

I went to 'Stocks For Tots' last Christmas in Mooresville, N.C., Juniors hometown. His fans were waiting at 4 AM for the 300 armbands to be handed out to meet Junior and some other drivers....Denny Hamlin, Shane Huffman , also Booty Barker etc.We almost froze to death, someone finally made a fire to warm us up. The event didn't happen until that night.
We were in line at night about 3 hours, in the cold, waiting to meet Junior. 300 happy fans. We were number 142 in line.
We met him, got his autograph, talked a bit , all was well. Denny was awesome.....met Bobby Allison, Ned Jarrett...it was awesome. The ppl behind us couldn't wait to meet Junior...........he got up and LEFT at number 146~~~he just didn't want to sign anymore. That's it. Who cared about the fans who had waited hours in the early morning to get the armbands that PROMISED a meeting with Dale Jr......or the same fans that waited over three hrs at night, standing in the freezing cold? He doesn't care about his fans.

I video tape my training, when I can. During class ( aikido, mma, bjj, kali) I seem to do well. When we work mma/bjj I generally do well. These guys are fighters and tend to be really good. But when I watch after class I sometimes really look like I don't know what I'm doing or look sloppy. Even in Aikido (which I have more xp than any other student in class) I sometimes look like I am unskilled. Do I just have an over active sense of what I should look like or could I just really suck? Even when I "win" a match I always find something that I shouldn't have done or pick on all my mistakes. Is this "normal" do you do this? One reason I like to video is so I can check out what I've learned and how I apply it. Anyone else really critical on yourself? I don't get this way with others, just myself. I always find a positive when I help someone else it's just myself I tend to not be able to please myself.

So I went running tonight around 9:45 and it was still around 90 degrees, if not a little warmer, and the heat was horrible. It felt like hot air was blowing on my face while I was running too.

I'm trying to not stop while I run and am trying to run about an hour, like I do in the winter time, but this is tough.

So how do you deal with the heat?

And yes, I do drink plenty of water, I'm trying to not run as fast as I do in the winter time, and I wear light clothing as well.

I realize there are usually routes up a mountain that can be harder or easier but I only want to include the easiest route up each mountain in Colorado in this determination of difficulty. In my opinion difficulty includes exposer, amount of technical climbing skills needed to climb, and its ranking in the Yosemite Decimal System. It does NOT include total distance and elevation gained. So by using my definition of difficulty what is the hardest 14er in Colorado?

J/K.....Hey, I can be hopeful can't I?

But now that I got your attention,

Name 4 players you would like to have in a shootout, 3 skaters and a goalie. (even if your not a fan of the shootout)

Must be current players though.

For extra credit list the 4 players you would like to have the shootout against.

Answers with reasons why are good too.
