I realize there are usually routes up a mountain that can be harder or easier but I only want to include the easiest route up each mountain in Colorado in this determination of difficulty. In my opinion difficulty includes exposer, amount of technical climbing skills needed to climb, and its ranking in the Yosemite Decimal System. It does NOT include total distance and elevation gained. So by using my definition of difficulty what is the hardest 14er in Colorado?

Capitol Peak. All of the 54 14ers can be climbed at no harder than class 4. Capitol has a lot of exposure, is a lot of class 4, and it has a lot of elevation gain and is a long hike in.
