Yeah i was upset about this at first, but the more i started thinking about it, it was the right move. Even though he'll have queer teammates, Hendrick Motorsports has the technology and everything tht J8unior needs along with his raw talent to make junior a champion.
In his interview with DW a couple of weeks ago, he said he probly woudn't race the #3 car until late in his career, so tht he didnt rewrite his father's legacy. I think tht he will drive for hendrick and then later switch to RCR, instead of spending his whole career at RCR.
I might be upset but i'm still a true fan of Earnhardts (except Teresa).

I think the move to Hendrick will be good for Jr. His reason for leaving was his desire to go to the team that will give him the best chance of winning a championship, and it's hard to argue against Hendrick in that department. I, like most Jr. fans, would like to have seen him reach that goal at DEI becasue it's his daddy's company and it would have been very emotional and sentimental had that happened. But it didn't. I follow and root for a driver because of the driver, not his team owner, car number, or sponsor. I will continue to be a huge Jr. fan next year because he is a straight-up, no-bull guy who races his butt off--I identify with him more than any other driver out there today, and I look forward to watching the new dynamic playout in the garage and on the track. I just wish they would ditch that damned COT.

Like i was in a state of shock when i heard Jr was going to Hendricks motor sports! It's just too weird to me. Even though i have only been following Jr for a couple of yrs. I just can't imagine him without the *Budweiser no, 8* His Father Dale Sr. built the corporation to pass on to Dale Jr. Is this not true or what? Teresa is a money hungry you know what! Doesn't matter though i will always follow Jr no matter where he goes!!!!

Primarily the most upset about this are: Joe Gibbs Racing, Richard Childress Racing and Dale Earnhardt Inc. They would all rather that Jr. was driving for them.
Fan wise, it shouldn't really make a difference to any of you. If you like Jr. root for him no matter who he is driving for. Just because you don't like his new teammates is no reason to get upset. Maybe now that he's in good equipment he'll be able to beat them.

I think Jr. move to Hendrick was good for him. I don't think that Gordan will be there much after his baby is born. And Johnson is just a cry baby and he will cry for a while but will have to work for what he gets now. Jr. will start winning races again and I feel a championship in the next couple of years.

I don't know why anyone should be upset. Jr. wanted to go to a team that supports him and that will give him the cars to win the race. Can't blame him for wanting to be a winner !!!

don't be attentive to for particular that Hendricks boys are being exceeded wins, in spite of the shown fact that it extremely looks suspicious. Take final week's race, to illustrate. all and sundry knew that Newman had of challenge to conquer Gordon to the commencing up/end line, however the officers desperate to throw a warning till now that ensue particularly of waiting to work out who have been given there first. If the warning flag could have flown after the crossed it, and Gordon could have held Newman off, then no you could even have been waiting to doubt Jeff's win in spite of ways they felt approximately him. till NASCAR gets new officers over the off season, I discern we are going to be seeing Jr. interior the winner's circle lots extra next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. are not getting me incorrect, i admire Dale; yet whilst his call began with something different than the super E, he could be problematic-pressed to even detect a journey next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. In my own opinion, Jr. has yet to teach himself worth of even being considered to be in the back of the wheel of the Black #3.

This is just my opinion. I think Jr. should NOT race for HMS. I don't have a problem with Rick, I have a problem with Gordon, as do most Earnhardt fans. I'm sick of HMS winning. I like Casey Mears though. I am not a fan of Kyle Busch either. I also think that that #3 car should be retired. That was Dale's # and it should be only his! That's what I think!

I saw it last week and thought how many race fans are going to get upset over a drivers business decission.
No need in getting upset no need getting mad.the driver is an independent contractor and makes a business deal to better his future.

OH NO????!?!! IS HE GOING TO HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS?? LMFAO!! THAT WAS A OVER A WEEK AGO... BUT ANYWAYS...
I AM UPSET ABOUT IT, BECAUSE PERSONALLY I DONT LIKE HIM AS A DRIVER.. HE HAS A COOL PERSONALITY THOUGH.. BUT JEFF GORDON AND JIMMIE JOHNSON'S TEAMMATE??? THATS CRAZY... THEY DOMINATE.. AND JEFF GORDON HAS BEEN THERE FOR 12 YEARS AND YOU ALL KNOW HE IS A BETTER DRIVER.. BY GOD.. WAY BETTER THAN Jr.'s DADDY.. HE WAS MORE WINS AND HE DIDNT GET THEM BY RACING DIRTY EITHER... BUT I AM GLAD Jr. IS NOTHING LIKE HIS DADDY... BECAUSE IF JEFFY WANTED TO BE A DIRTY DRIVER.. HE WOULD, BUT HE KNOWS HE IS TOO GOOD FOR THAT.. I LOVE JEFF GORDON ALL THEY WAY.. AND NEXT YEAR IS GONNA BE A TRIP..!!!!!
BUT ANYWAYS......... JEFF GORDON IS NUMBER ONE IN POINTS NOW AND HE HAS FOUR CHAMPIONSHIPS AND MAKE THAT FIVE IN NOVEMBER!!!
GO JEFF GORDON.... DRIVE FOR FIVE, BABY!!!
