Sonny Liston. Liston was once an enforcer for the mob and this is the kind of scenario where he'd be most brutal and ruthless. Mike Tyson, for all his strength and natural fighting skills, wouldn't stand a chance. Liston was bigger and stronger than Tyson and once Liston stares him down, his knees would buckle down. Even the great Muhammad Ali admitted being scared to death of the "Big Ugly Bear".

Sonny Liston. He was a much more experienced streetfighter. Remember, Tyson was rescued at an early age by Cus D'amato(I think it was 13), thus putting an end to his "streetfighting" days. Sonny was a streetfighter well into his adulthood and had a reputation as quite a head-cracker for the mob and a prison brawler as well.

Liston just via his experience.

It would be Tyson & the reason why is Liston is a quitter. When he was obviously getting whipped by Ali in the 1st fight rather than go for broke he quit on the stool with a lame excuse. Mike could have done that when Buster Douglass was beating him but he kept coming out for every round & trying everything he could & even knocked down Douglass for 11 seconds. He did this until he got knocked out. Sonny Liston was a bully & Ali was the 1st one to stand up to the bully & smack him in the mouth & when that happend Liston quit. Liston even put linament on his gloves to get in Ali's eyes & when that didn't work he just quit & Bert Sugar said you don't give up the heavyweight championship sitting on the stool you give it all & if you have to you loose on your back!!!! Tyson by tko because Liston would quit on his stool!!!!

Tyson- He grew up mugging little old ladies, and during the Ali-Liston fight he was acting like a little B i t c h that means Mike should feel right at home mugging him.

this is a real silly scenario but since i clicked on it, it would be tyson easily. they both had similar sizes and styles. tyson was just much meaner, tougher and more importantly had a much stronger chin. Tyson would not have gone down to Ali's phantom flicker jab then not got up in the first round of a rematch
