Cavs Fan Here - What a time for the Cavs not to be able to make wide open shots - in the finals..go figure... I am sick of hearing about how good San Antonio is. The Cavs would be losing these finals to the New York Knicks or Charlotte Bobcacts if we were playing them... San Antonio is earned squat in this finals. Especially last night. What a puke game by San Antonio and even worse puke shooting performance by the Cavs. How can someone in the NBA not make open jump shots at least 50% of the time. What is wrong with Lebron's jump shot? Worse than last year. I thought players were supposed to get better year to year. Why when Lebron gets a pick will he not take the ball to the basket off of the pick but instead pulls it back to the top of the three point line into a double team with the guy who was just picked? Our coaches suck.. The Spurs are the most boring team of all time. Tim Duncan can not be an all time great when he doesn't even lead his team in scoring in the finals

Where is he to go? If DEI takes him will KB fans follow or abandon him?

The most promising young driver today, is leaving Hendrick? My head is spinning.

I've have followed Jr since he first started in Busch racing, But I watched his dad first. I know what i thought of Jeff Gordon then and it basically stills hold true today. Also Jimmie Johnson being Gordon Team mate I have the same feelings towards him as I do Gordon. I know i'm a huge JR fan but I really don't know if I can Cheer for a Hendrick Team. What are your thoughts?

These where mines.

1) Royals vs Yankees game 3 1980 Alcs= I will never forget how George Brett broke my heart when he homered off Gossage eliminating the Yankess in a 3 game sweep.

2) Game 7 World Series vs Arizona 2001.= Total collpase need i say more?

3) Game 7 Red sox finished their remarkable comeback from a 3-0 defecit= The moment they lost that game 6 i had a bad feeling Yanks where going to lose this one. It was bad enough they lost but in the way they lost thanks to Kevin Brown was just too much.

Runner ups= 2003 World series when they lost to the marlins & the 1995 Wild card playoff game 5 when they lost to the Mariners.

I have my first tournament coming up that will be all day martial arts forms - etc. then ending with sparring at the end. I'm trying to train for it & I'm feeling wiped. I also work 2 jobs & I'm thinking that nutrition is my issue. I tried posting this in the health section - but didn't get much, so wanted to try here. I know eat healthy - fruits, vegetables - etc., but I've been searching the internet for something more specific. I'm not good at this part & I was looking for more exact info on foods that will give energy and endurance. I'm only 5'2" 124lbs. Don't want to gain weight - anyone seen a website that broke it down. I looked at the pyramid one, but didn't tell me what to eat. My biggest problem is that I leave my house at 6am & get home after midnight - so cooking for myself is an issue. Any suggestions???

Why are there so many questions;on here; from students or potential students about "training aids" to learn stances, forms(katas), stretching, breathing...ad infinatum? Where are your instructors?
This question is here to let people say what I already know but hearing it from me means nothing.

The guy has never won a big game and successfully quarterbacked 2 top 10 teams out of championship contention. He never beat USC and Ohio State Killed him in the Fiesta Bowl, and russel and Lsu just flat out embarrased him. Why is he looked at as being potentially great? Is it because he went to Notre dame? What has he done in his career to lead anybody to believe that he will be a success in the league?

I think he is one of the most overrated quarter backs to come out in the last 15 years. I think he will end up being like rick Mier or ron Powlus.

I have mixed emotions about the merger. I hope the Jr fans will come to see the Jr and Jeff are friends and maybe the will quite being haters. I'm not sure if I like Jr coming to Henrick though. Opinions please..

I really think it would be fun and I would love to get some exercise (I'm not fat, but I'm no toothpick, either). But here's the catch: when I think about it, there might be some bad parts. For one thing, I'm not EXTREMELY flexible, so I probably won't make the squad. Secondly, I have a twisted spine, and I might have to do surgery sometime during the year, and I will have to give up cheerleading and all, and thirdly, I might not be able to attend practice. I don't know what days or times they are, but I have dance lessons that start at 5:00 PM (though practice should end no later than 4:15, I expect). My mom and dad work full-time jobs, and my babysitter is really the only one who can take me. Oh, and what about my other interests? I like drama and singing, and I might not be able to do them if I cheer...I still don't know the schedule, so I'm not positive. I want to make my decision soon, so that if I decide to try out, I can start practicing my jumps and all that. Please, help?!?!?!

I do a run\walk work out, increasing the length of running each week. I can do 1 min run\2 min walk no problem (6-7 reps). Running for 2 minutes is the kicker. I'm dying at the end of the reps, can't catch my breath, ect. My next increase is to three, but I'm sure I would end up on the ground actually dead. So, how do I increase my endurance to get myself to be able to run for two minutes for 6-7 reps... and then for three... four... ect.

P.S. I am naturally a sprinter but aspire to be one of those crazy long-distance runners.

By full credit, I mean would you consider them a team that could match up well against championship teams in the past? They faced a watered down east in those years where the talent pool wasn't great at all...ESPECIALLY at center. I mean, Shaq is one of the greatest of all times. In his prime, you could match him up with Lamar Odom and they'd win a ring in todays NBA right?

Look they faced Indiana in 2000 - (Rik Smits)
76ers in 2001 - (Dikembe Mutombo)
And swept the Nets in 2002 - (Todd MacCulloch)

What do you think people, is this like a "great" Laker team of the past? Or were they fortunate to have Shaq in his prime facing a weak east??
