The coach said I should be able to do 8 "lengths" or four laps or maybe it was the other way around. Right now I can go to each side 3 times. How long do you think it will take for me to be able to do 8 lenghths if I practice every day? Do you have any suggestions?

I could give you an example of this phenomenon occurring today, where Roberto Alomar, arguably one of the top 25 most "complete" position players to ever play the game is somehow being underrated in order to allow the inferior Craig Biggio to be wrongly hailed as the best secondbaseman of our generation. This claim is patently absurd, and I believe the impetus to make such claims is driven to a large degree by the bigotry and prejudice that not only infects the minds of ordinary American citizens, but most notably seems to invade the views of baseball fans as well.

Is there much difference between 7th degree and 9th degree black belt? I mean in the martial arts community, are there many people that carry a 7th degree black belt?

Will a person who has a 7th degree black belt be able to train me to be a good fighter? Of course 90% will be on my part but would he have the skills and knowledge to teach me all that I need to know?
