I think he should not be in the Hall of Fame as a coach, do you think he should be in the HOF as a player?

Yes, he has more hits than any other baseball player. How can you say that's not good? Pete Rose is easily one of the best baseball players ever, just because he bet on games doesnt mean he doesnt disserve credit for all of his great plays.

Pete Rose's integrity and his ability to tell the truth are highly suspect. He lied about gambling when he was a manager but then reversed himself when the evidence was not in his favor. How can anyone believe he never bet as a player? He is banned from baseball, and the Hall of Fame will do quite well without hm.

Yes he should be in the Hall of Fame. It is not the Hall of Truth.

no, it's against the rules no matter what you are and he has to suffer the consequences.
