Nobody from the current heavyweight champs of today could beat Tyson in his prime. Heck tyson could take them all in one night they just need to fall in line and wait there turn.

Nikolay Valuev is big for nothing. He just got a very very strong chin. For his size, he can't even knockout opponents early. If Mike Tyson fought this guy, Valuev will have a hard time landing anything being that Tyson can duck and dodge jabs. Tyson can probably see any punch he throws because he punches so slow. Eventually it'll be Valuev who will get tired through the end and believe it or not, Tyson may knock this guy out after 12 rounds if Valuev gets tired.

The blogbaba has never been a big Tyson fan, but come on, even in the shape Tyson is in right now, which is ten years past his last decent fight Mike would probably have enough left to take the big guy. Today, it would be a close fight, given that Mike is operating at about 10% of his original abililty. Even the Tyson that lost to Lennox Lewis (Mike at about 65% of his peak) would have easily walked through Valuev.

Like one of the others said, if Tyson could get himself together mentally, he could do serious damage to the division again. In his prime it is no question, short of him being destroyed mentally coming into the fight. Even now, Valuev has never been hit by such a hard puncher, and his chin has been suspect before, as in the Monte Barrett fight, he was rocked a couple times early on, maybe it's just bad balance, either way it would be big trouble against a man like Tyson.

Tyson always struggled with fighters that were taller than him. For example Buster Douglas, Lennox Lewis, Danny Williams and Kevin McBride are all taller fighters that KOd Tyson. Valuev is 7'0 and weighs over 300 lbs. Tyson would probably get so frustrated he'd do something to get disqualified before he got knocked out.

who is Valuev? this guy would get DESTROYED by tyson in his prime. just because he is 7ft dont mean sh it. tyson was a giant killer every opponent tyson faught was much bigger. this guy should not be in the same sentence with a tyson in his prime. if tyson was in his prime he would have killed every contender out there quick and easily. NO CONTEST! VALUEV WOULD HAVE RAN FROM TYSON.

I think Vaulev would win - right after Tyson would bite him below the belt and completely knock his head off with a upper cut when the giant bent over in pain. The ref would climb up on the ropes put the giants head back on, disqualify Tyson (who would already be out in the crowd threatening fans and grabbing girls asses), and declare the Russian the winner. Cus Amato would roll over in his grave. The pay-per-view audience would sit in stunned silence in front of their tvs, and it would be over.

A prime Mike Tyson will annihilate - take note, ANNIHILATE - all the so-called heavyweight champions as well as the contenders of today. If only he's mentally stable, he'll beat all of these guys even at age 41.
