American soccer couldn't have gotten any worse, could it? Hehe :P
America needs more Andre Agassi's, am I right? Heh
To the person above, America doesn't own hockey in any way, shape or form. Canada does, and all those players on the American teams who win ARE canadian... isnt the stanley cup between some random american team (19 players of whom are canadian, the captain and assistant both included, and only about 5 americans?) vs canada's ultimate team (senators, whose entire team is pretty much canadian with a few exceptions, i mean alfredsson might as well be canadian), i cant believe i know so much about it, this is what living in canada has done to me haha.

Its somewhat Ironic but not surprising....
US basketball team is really not a "Team"....they just try to gather the best possible players from the NBA, practice for 2 weeks and go play against actual real teams.....hence their downfall.
US soccer has improved but not vastly.....its not like they are competing against world class teams and beating them.....
I blame the US Soccer association for choosing friendlies with so/so teams and if the team is strong, normally a second string side....
They need to go out a play better teams....the only way they will learn to get better is to play the best.....

I did take notice to how basketball was going downhill but that's about all I noticed. I didn't know tennis was, too. I don't follow basketball except for UConn. I don't care for the NBA. I do just love that soccer is improving here and I find that to be exciting.

It isn't that they are going down hill, it is that everybody else is catching up. The same thing is going on with soccer ( football ). Look at the Africans, Asians, etc.

What an excellent day that replaced into! nevertheless one in each and every of my fondest ideas :). Irony is like humor; each and every physique won't agree on what's ironic or humorous.

USA still the best in Baseball and Ice hockey and football. USA won the world baseball classic and USA won gold in Ice hockey. USA team Carolina hurricanes won the stanley cup. USA boxing is still great. Americans dominate UFC. Only other nation to have good UFC fighters is Canada buts thats about it. Liddell would kill Mirko in a fight. We might be done in tennis but we didnt send good players in basketball thats why we lost.
