weight training for martial arts, what to do?

what type of weight training should i do to help my martial art?
high reps low weight, or low reps high weight? or all bodyweight exercises? on websites they all say different things, does anyone have links to some famous martial artists weight training programs? except for bruce lee iv seen his already

Have you ever succeeded in attaining a runner's high?

Runners: have you ever actually gotten a runner's high while running? I run an average of 4 miles a day/6 days a week (at an even pace) but still have never acheived this feat. Do I need to quicken my pace? Right now it takes me about 40-45 minutes for 4 miles. Am I going too slow? Help!

.17 or .22 which will give me the best accuricy and best range?

I want to take up shooting -- how should I start?

Target shooting specifically. I went to a shooting range a while ago, and man, when you pull the trigger ... it's an incredible feeling of respect for the physics and chemistry behind it all. Anyway, i had a blast and would love to get more into it ... but am totally clueless on how. Any thoughts?

Why VVS.LAKSHMAN is sidelined yet again?

VVS.Lakshman is definitely one of the great batsmen of the Indian cricket. But time and again he is ignored and humiliated. Does he need a god father or what? He proved his class in several matches. For instance, he scored a double century against Australia in a very crucial moment and won the test match for India. He should have been picked up in the playing 11 aganist Bangladesh in place of either Jaffer or Karthik.

Why Indian Cricket doesn't have a world class fast bowler?

India is a nation of 100 crore population. Is it not bewildering that we don't have a great, wicket taking fast bowler? I think it is high time the BCCI officials go on a hunt to find the bowling talent across the country. It should be done wholeheartedly.

Has Vince lost his touch?

Ladies and gentleman at present time wwe has nothing to offer! What is Vince doing first making himself ecw champ! back in the day ecw wrestlers basically killed themself for that belt. When he won that title i believe wwe lost all of little hope of resigning rvd. Rvd see's as most people do vince as world champ is spitting in the face of every ecw wrestler that has ever bleed for that company.Why the hell is great kahli a contender for the title? its mind bloggling. kahli is possibly the worst wrestler ever! i remember the good old day's of wwe great feuds,great matches. I honestly think that alot of young talent such as shelton and carlito will one day have enough of vince's never ending shedule.(they wrestle 4-5 days aweek) and also the bitchiness backstage policters such as triple h having too much say. in my opinion wwe has lost its connection with the fans. please give me some reasons too watch wwe programming.I so sick of vince,cena,lashley and batista. what do you think?

Help ! Birthday party help!?

My best friend is turning 40. Her husband & I are trying to plan this. Actually, he's kind of put this all on me, but I don't care. I plan - he's paying (but tight on money) Nascar theme - huge JG fan! Huge! It's at a hall - we have to bring everything, right down to silverware. Got people who will help decorate, but I only have 2 1/2 hrs to do it. Got the cake all set, I think.
Any suggestions? It's in 1 (one) month !! Any help would be appreciated!

What is that clear gel-looking stuff put on boxers' and UFC peoples face?

I was watching the UFC Liddell-Jackson fight tongiht and during the undercard matches as well as the main event, before the fight the trainers were putting this gel stuff that was clear on the faces of the fighters (under the eyes, on the forehead). They do it in boxing too. What is it and why do they do that?
