As long as populations are in good shape and the hunting is controlled, I have no issues with it.
I do not like canned or 'high fence' hunts. I think that's kinda like shooting a cow in a pasture. There needs to be some 'hunt' in the hunt.

It is difficult to do one without the other. However that depends on your definition of Sport Hunting. My definition is just plain hunting for legal game and having fun at the same time. I am a meat Hunter not a Trophy Hunter.... However even Trophy Hunters eat the meat or give it away, and then mount the animal afterwards...

Shoting bird or other animal not good. I do not like it.
i eat meat and if you hunt to eat then it o.k. But just killing for a hobby no way.
If the number of animals is out of balance then I am not against reducing the number.
Wild pigs and ferrial cat that damage native spices if you must do hunting

Technically, we all are sport hunters, because very few of us have the actual need to hunt for food

Always use what you kill. Dont waste the meat. Killing animals for target practice is wastefull and lowers the value of life of all living creatures on earth. Use a paper target or a metal can with a backstop instead. If you intend to eat what you kill then by all means go for it. Thats what they are on this earth for. Semper Fi.

I think it is O.K. as long as the meat don,t go to waste. I love Duck hunting, but don"t eat them. I have a older couple down the road that welcomes me in with a limit of ducks. Same with extra meat from other game that I was lucky enough to harvest.

I believe that sport hunting is wrong, I only shoot what I intend on eating. Or if it threatens my life.

It's fun to go out and shoot wild animals, chop them up, cook them on a grill while drinking a few beers to celebrate the kill, and eat them. My dogs are good sports and like the deer bones. They think it's fun too...
