What Happens in Washington, Stays in Washington?

(May 26) - As city slogans go, Las Vegas has set the new gold standard. The city's "What Happens Here, Stays Here" campaign has helped attract almost 40 million visitors each year to the Nevada gambling paradise.
Now, the nation's capital wants a piece of that action -- so much so that Washington is on the market for a snappy slogan of its own, and it's willing to spend $150,000 to find one.
What slogan would you offer our nation's capital...?
Think of a good slogan or "catch phrase" to improve the image of Washington, D.C.

I thought "A Capital City" was a very, good one. The people in the city of Washington do not take enough pride in how wonderful a tourist attraction the National Mall is. Plus, most of the exhibits are free to the public. The city scene may not quite match Chicago or New York, but DuPont Circle and Georgetown have a lot to offer.

I was watching the news this morning May 29, 2007 and I saw that Washington D.C. is seeking a slogan I have one I think is appropriate: "Washington D.C. The City of Born Leaders."

My wife Awilda came up with these slogans:
"Washington D.C., Come Feel The Power"
"Washington D.C., It's Electric!"
"Washington D.C., The Current of the Nation"

As long as they dont take the approch that the Pirates did, anything would be fine. The Pirates "We Will" is the worst out there. We will what, lose again, forget how to play, have the worst owership in MBL history, forget how to hit. The Pirates "We Will" has been running for a few years now, and has become the butt of jokes from Pittsburgh writers to ESPN. Just dont follow what they did and you will be alright.

Washington - we make our heritage here.
Washington - beauty, grace and civil service.
OK that's about all I can think of that is nice. The rest is not so flattering.
