ok so thomas sucks as a GM but he rules as a player and parker is nowhere near thomas's greatness. This question is too one sided I don't think anyone on his right mind would pick parker over thomas.

Not even close at this point, it's clearly Isiah. People seem to forget just how great of a point guard Thomas was, definite top 5 PG of all time. Parker barely makes the top 5 in today's point guards. Isiah led the Pistons to 2 championships while Parker has been the third best player on 2. Not even close or debatable.

Well Isiah held the record for most 3rd quarter points for a while(I think it got broken by someone though), and he did it on a sprained ankle, in the playoffs. Parker is fast and has a decent shot, but Thomas was like a shorter Michael Jordan; crazy athletic, insane hang time, a good shooter, took some shots and made some moves I havn't seen anyone else take, and he just flat out wanted to win.

Yes he sucks as a coach, but you should watch some old clips of him playing, he was awesome.

Isiah Thomas!!! lol One of the greatest PGs of All-Time. Parker is dreaming if he thinks he's going to surpass Zeke in greatness and ability.

Isaiah Thomas was awesome and could do everything, Tony Parker takes way too many shots and most of them are bad shots.

Thomas at this point because you have his entire HOF career to view. Parker is a possible HOF player, but he's going to have to continue playing at this high level for several more years.

Chuck Daly once said that had Thomas been 5 inches taller, he'd be the greatest basketball player in history. That says it all.
