with the sadness, i can say that walter payton is dead.

I remember the interview with his son when he was very emotional. And his death was very sad in the nfl world as well as the real world.

But we still love him, even today.

Yes, Walter Payton is dead. He died recently, in 1999. As I'm sure you know, he was one heck of a running back (Hall of Famer) and held the record for career rushing yards until Emmitt Smith broke the record on October 27, 2002, just days before the third anniversary of Payton's death (Nov. 1).

yeah he died of some rare disease. he was the best football player to ever live. im not a bears fan but the sweetness is untouchable.
